Today is/was Friday and what a very long day it was! Inside recess and inside lunch due to miserable weather. Thirty-two, high-energy, hormonal pre-teens in a small breeze-block classroom with very little space to move. Fun times! But we all survived.
Parents, ask your kids about The Terry Fox video we watched this afternoon. Did you know that the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over 500 million dollars for cancer research?

This weekend:
1. Math test on Monday. Review study questions.
2. We are getting through the conferencing for the Recounts. For those students I have conferenced with, good copies are due Monday.
3. Today's French test is rescheduled to Monday.
4. The Health Journal has been extended to Wednesday.
5. For those of you who have History - due Monday.
Up and coming dates:
1. Picture day is September 30th. Reminder sent home today.
2. Terry Fox run is on Wednesday. Pledge forms sent home today. Please work hard at getting some pledges. Clairlea has always been an outstanding group of students who give so generously to Terry Fox Foundation for cancer research.
